Thermo Switches for Automobiles

Description
These are snap actions type bimetal thermostats used in automobiles. These switches are normally open and actuate the radiator fan only when a desired temperature has been attained by the cooling fluid. Again when the coolant reaches the lower temperature they stops the radiator fan. They help in running the automotive engine in the optimal desired temperature range, it avoids the cold running of engine as well overheating of the engine. These are produced in brass construction with various threads for mounting and varying configuration of connectors and varying temperature range.

Overload Protectors with PTC Relays

Description
These are thermal protectors for overload protection of hermetically sealed refrigeration Compressors and such like motors. In these protectors snap action bimetal disc is actuated with the heating caused in proportion to the current drawn by the compressor. When compressor is drawing excessive current the protector is heated faster and switches off the current supply to the compressor. Trip temperature varies from 100 to 150 Deg C and reset temperature varies from 50 to 100 Deg C. These overload protctors (OLP) are also supplied with PTC relay.

Application
These OLP's with PTC relays are widely used for refrigeration compressors and similar applications.

Oil Pressure Switches for Automobiles

Description
These are low pressure low current indicating devices used in automobile for indicating the oil circulation pressure in the engines. These are thin diaphragm based switches. When the oil pressure is exerted on the diaphgram it breaks of the conitnuity signal and the oil pressure signal goes off on the dash board indicating that oil pressure iscreated in the chamber. These are available in different mountings and terminal connections as per the customer needs.

Application
They are used in automobiles for switching off oil pressure signal on the dash board.
They are also used in industrial application for low pressure low voltage signal devices.

Backup / Reverse Light Switches

Description
These are low current indicating devices used in automobiles for indicating the signal of reverse gear in automobiles. These are nose mounted Switches in which a sensing plunger is projecting out of the nose. When some lever pushes the plunger it actuates the low voltage electrical signal which further gives on signal to reverse light.

Application
They are used in automobiles for switching on the backup / reverse light when the vehicle is put in the reverse gear.
They are also used in industrial applications for low voltage push type signal devices.
